Oggi sono stata contattata da un'altra coppia di Italiani che mi chiedono consiglio per trovare casa in Spagna precisamente in Torrevieja.
Ieri era una signora sola, il giorno prima una famiglia, ecc. spesso non mi dicono sto pensando di trasferirmi ma ho deciso di venire a vivere a Torrevieja e vorrei venire a vedere com’è.
Questo mi sembra incredibile, un passo del genere porterebbe ad un percorso di studio del territorio, della città, del modo di vivere…. Ma queste persone partono, magari con un percorso conoscitivo chi di una settimana, chi di un mese, ma poi si traferiscono senza rimorsi, a spada tratta.
La cosa piu’ incredibile dell’ultimo pensionato uomo, solo che mi ha detto, è stata che avendo bisogno di un aiuto quando arriva, mi ha scritto il volo dell’arrivo e non mi era mai capitato, nessun volo di ritorno. Alla mia domanda per sapere il volo di ritorno lui mi ha riferito, “ vengo per restare” mi serve per i primi tempi una sistemazione provvisoria e successivamente una definitiva, non ha mai visto la nostra Citta !
Ammiro molto questo popolo di pensionati, che si battono per una qualità della vita soddisfacente e lottano a volte soli o con handicap, per non arrendersi ad uno stile di vita che in Italia non riescono più a sopportare.
Ecco perché tutto questo mi fa pensare ad una fuga.
Today I was contacted by another Italian couple who asked me for an advice to find home in Spain, specifically in Torrevieja.
Yesterday it was a single woman, the day before a family, etc. They don’t often say that they’re just thinking of moving , but that they want to come and live in Torrevieja and they want to come and see how it is to live there.
This seems incredible, such a step would lead to a study of the area, the city, the way of life .... But these people leave, perhaps with a cognitive process : some of a week, some of a month, but then they move without remorses , to the hilt.
The most incredible thing about the last retired man that contacted me, that never happened before, was that being in need of help when he was arriving, he wrote me about the outbound flight but not about the inbound flight. When I asked him about the inbound flight he told me that he was coming to stay , that he was looking for a temporary accommodation for first times and for a definitive one at a later stage.
I really admire these retired people, who are fighting for a satisfying quality of life and fighting sometimes alone or with a disability, not to give up to a lifestyle that they can’t bear anymore in Italy.
That's why all of this makes me think of an escape.
